Spline Ring Gauge
Spline Ring Gauges are used to check the effective tooth thickness, Form Diameter, etc., of the splined Shaft Conformance to dimensional specifications, assures the desired fit and interchangeability. The basic principles are applicable to all types of splines. Checking each individual part parameters like profile accuracy, Index Error, Lead Error and PCD run out on a production line is tedious and time-consuming. A set of ‘Go’ and ‘No-Go’ Spline Gauges will check all these parameters and decide the acceptance of the component.
STRAIGHT SIDED PARALLEL SPLINE Shafts are Checked with Spline Ring Gauges ( Cross Cut Type ) for the Spline Width, Major Diameter, Minor Diameter / Form Diameter.
