EVEN CYLINDRICAL EXPANSION
The threaded clamping system from König-mtm consists of a collet chuck screwed onto the base mandrel. The collet chuck is pushed over the specially ground profile using a thread profile and axial force movement.

You can also achieve even cylindrical expansions for large clamping lengths. And that’s not all – depending on the use case and the clamping diameter, you can clamp tolerances up to IT 13. Actuation of the mechanical clamping equipment occurs through hydraulic machine pressure, via the tensile force or compressive force of the machine or tailstock side.
